Exploring Arizona One Hiking Trail and One Restaurant at a Time Roger Naylor
Roger Naylor discovered Arizona in 1975. He's been hiking it, backroading it and writing about it ever since. His specialties include state and national parks, lonely hiking trails, twisting back roads, diners with burgers sizzling on the grill, small towns, ghost towns and good pie. Inducted into the Arizona Tourism Hall of Fame in 2018, Roger's work has appeared in The Arizona Republic, The Guardian, USA Today and Arizona Highways - among many other publications. He's the author of the official Arizona State Visitor Guide as well as guides for Sedona, Scottsdale and Yuma, and he wrote the Grand Canyon National Park Centennial Magazine in 2019. Roger's most recent book titled 'Boots & Burgers: An Arizona Handbook for Hungry Hikers' highlights 70 hiking trails and 70 restaurants across Arizona. He will have copies of this book and several of his others about Arizona and the Southwest available for purchase and signature at our meeting where he will share the highlights of his explorations.
